Today was the first time ever that I watched this movie. And after seeing it, I loved it. I will be watching it many more times. If you like dialogue-filled or dramatic or murder mystery movies, look no further than this movie. The story is as simple as can be. 12 jurors are placed in one closed room as they discuss an open and shut murder trial, but Henry Fonda’s character thinks that the 18-year-old boy’s life who was accused of murdering his father by stabbing him in the chest with a switchblade deserves at least some thought and votes not guilty. From this point on we have 12 actors arguing amongst themselves and screaming and yelling at each other, but, eventually, as the clues pile on, the jurors change their votes one by one. Don’t miss out on this movie. This is another old movie that I would be happy to watch in theatres if it ever gets re-released and I encourage you to do so too if it ever does. It’s going to be worth your money.
