Borat’s first movie brought great shame to Kazakhstan, causing him to be imprisoned in a gulag for life. Fourteen years later, the country’s prime minister releases him, with a mission to deliver Kazakh Minister of Culture Johnny the Monkey to President Donald Trump in an attempt to redeem Kazakhstan. He realises he can’t get close to Trump because of something he did in the previous movie. He decides to give the monkey to Mike Pence. Borat is transported across the world on a hilarious route by cargo ship and arrives in Texas. He buys a cell phone and goes to welcome Johnny, but finds that Tutar (Borat’s daughter in this movie) is in Johnny’s shipping container instead, so he then faxes the Kazakh prime minister and he tells him he has to find a way to satisfy Mike Pence or he will be executed. So, he decides to give his daughter to Mike Pence instead. And so they begin their journey with so much gross-out & shock humor. I’d say this movie has more of that than the original.
I had a lot of fun watching this. Like I said, it’s not as good as the original, but, this is the best Borat sequel we could have got
