The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) Movie Review - Quick Movie Reviews by Haris

So, this is is a movie where we get introduced to the most likeable characters ever put to film. Frodo, Sam, Bilbo, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, Saruman, Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Boromir, Arwen, Elrond! I still have my Frodo costume in my closet from when I was in primary school. I might wear it this halloween. It still fits. I’m kind of a Hobbit myself. I’m pretty short for a guy. Within the opening 20-30 minutes we see an epic battle with thousands of orcs, elves and humans and then after that the beautiful Shire. Anyway, let’s get to the actual plot of this movie. In ancient times, the elf blacksmiths created the Rings of Power. Then the Dark Lord Sauron created a Ring to rule them all. But the Ring was stolen, and for a long time, he thought it to be lost. But many years later, the Ring came to the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins. In a land called the Shire, Frodo inherits the Ring from his uncle, Bilbo. Now Frodo must go on a dangerous journey across Middle-earth, and throw the Ring into Mt. Doom in Mordor, the only place it can be destroyed.

This movie abso-fucking-lutely gets 10/10*.
