A chronicle of James Brown’s rise from extreme poverty to become one of the most influential musicians in history.
Let me get the positives out of the way first. Chadwick Boseman is great, the story is interesting at times, the soundtrack as well, but, between those stuff.
This was kind of a disappointing experience. I don’t hate it, but, it could have been a lot better. It lacked that groove. 6,5/10*
