Another really good Harry Potter movie… Three in a row. And this movie combines the magic of the first movie and the darkness of the second one. It’s also pretty funny and kind of sad as well. I mean, there is many different tones in this movie, but, surprisingly, it all blends kind of well together. Put some really great music in there and boom. And of course, I gotta talk about the casting of Gary Oldman as Sirius Black in this movie who you think is this really menacing villain who has escaped from the inescapable wizard prison Azkaban but then he becomes a good and one of the top 5 beloved characters for me in these movies. The others being Harry, Hagrid, Dumbledore and Snape. Where this movie fails a bit for me is the acting by some of the side characters. Some are just a bit over the top. And also the time travel stuff while entertaining, it was just slightly too long for me. I’m giving this movie a 9/10*
