The first Indiana Jones movie, and after a really long think, this is NOT my favorite Indiana Jones movie. Indiana Jones is no ordinary archaeologist. We first see him in 1936 in a South American jungle, looking for a small golden statue. He finds this statue and immediately the place that he’s in starts falling apart. He somehow escapes but loses the statue to his archaeological french rival René Belloq. Indiana Jones then escapes on a plane on the river. We then see him in class as and he’s working as a professor. He gets called up by his friend Marcus Brody to find the long-lost Ark of the Covenant. The Nazis are already searching for the Ark, which Hitler hopes to use to make his soldiers invincible. To get to the first clue of the Ark’s whereabouts, he must travel to Nepal to secure a medallion kept under the protection of his friend, whose daughter, Marion has a “history” with. They become partners in this one big action-packed adventure of a movie. Honestly, the best that the adventure has to offer. It’s a really good movie to watch.
I’m giving it 8,5/10*.
