After an incident in a Shanghai nightclub, Indiana Jones escapes on a plane with a 12-year-old kid Short Round and the easily frightened nightclub singer Willie Scott. After the pilots abandon the plane and leave them for dead, they somehow escape with an emergency dinghy they found on the plane. They slide down a mountain with it and float on a raging river. They later find out they have arrived in India and this is where the plot starts. The villagers are desperate for his help to find a mystical stone. The journey leads him to a secret cult committing enslavement and human sacrifices in the catacombs of an ancient palace. This is not a really good movie like The raiders of the lost Ark, but, it’s not a bad movie either. It’s still very watchable. I just didn’t care much about the plot.
