Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes (2024) Movie Review

Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes (2024) - Movie Review - Quick Movie Reviews by Haris

Set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

I’ll be honest, I was terrified going into this movie. Even though I was very impressed by the trailer to say the least, I still barely convinced myself to go see this one. I hold the Matt Reeves & Andy Serkis Planet Of The Apes trilogy very close to heart. Let me tell you, those fears were totally unjistified! From the first scene to the last, I was hooked! This movie is the best looking movie of the franchise. It’s truly a feast for the eyes. Very colorful, beautiful shots. The action is exciting and tense, the sound is also excellent, the apes also somehow look even more real. I was really invested in all the new characters. Owen Teague, Freya Allan & Kevin Durand all impressed me with their performances.

I have so many good things to say about this movie and no negatives! I honestly can’t wait how the story will unfold in future movies. To say this movie made me happy as big fan is a huge understatment! I saw this movie three times and I can’t wait to own it on 4K! Honeslty, my favorite visual/audio experience since Top Gun: Maverick!
