5 Ford vs Ferrari
When I went to see this movie, I wasn’t really sure if I was gonna like it, since sports movies are not my cup of tea. This movie is the rare movie that can entertaint just about anyone, it has something for everybody. Christian Bale is the bright spot of this movie and I can see him at least being nominated for an oscar in the best supporting actor category and Matt Damon is the best I have seen him in years. I will watch this movie many more times.
4 Knives out
This genre has mostly been limited to TV shows and books! FINALLY, a great detective movie on the big screen with so many great actors! Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Christopher Plummer, Michael Shannon, Ana de Armas… The movie also has a lot of dark humor, which is my favorite type of humor 
3 Once upon a time… in Hollywood
I watched this movie three times now and I’m yet to be bored by it. Quentin Tarantino made another great movie. Leonardo Di Caprio and Brad Pitt work so well together comedy-wise and I hope to see the two of them in a movie together very soon! This is the most laid-back and fun Tarantino movie. It focuses a lot on comedy. Of course, there are those typical violent moments, but those only appear at the end of the movie.
2 The Irishman
It’s a movie with Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Ray Romano and directed by Martin Scorsese! Need I provide more explanation for why you need to watch this movie? IT’S MAGNETIC! The movie is really, really long, though, 3 and a half hours, but, becuase of these actors I was never bored, never looked at my watch wondering when the end credits will start

For me this is the best movie of the year. Dare I say, it’s one of the TOP 5 movies of the 2010’s. I love that this movie is set in the 1980’s and the music choices are PERFECT! I find myself listening to White room, That’s life, Smile, Rock&Roll: Part 2 and My name is Carnival almost every day. Joaquin Phoenix is PERFECT and his performance is oscar-worthy and he deservedly won the golden globe for best actor.
