This is the first James Bond movie without Sean Connery. This time around he is played by George Lazenby in his first and only James Bonds movie… Aaaand, the difference in the quality of this movie and the movies that came before it are obvious. I would say the best performances are by the Bond girl in this movie Diana Rigg and Gabriele Ferzetti. The worst performances are by George Lazenby and the over-the-top villain’s Telly Savalas. The mission is also the worst of the 1960’s movies. The action and the humor, however are worth praising and it’s what kept from being aggressively bored by this movie. The ending is really great though, I was surprised.
Look, you can watch this movie and not hate yourself for watching it, there are definitely some redeeming qualities as I mentioned. If it weren’t for those few parts, this movie would have got a 4/10* or 5/10* from me but because of that I’m giving it: 6,5/10*
