The two brothers have made a career out of writing great fairy tales like Hansel & Gretel, Rapunzel, Snow White, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, The frog prince, The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats, just to name a few of the most famous ones.
In the movie they find themselves bringing some of these stories to life in this inventive fantasy, adventure, horror and also a funny movie. Will Grimm and his brother Jake Grimm earn their living by travelling from village to village and defeating strange supernatural beasts that have been terrifying the population. Or at least that’s what their clients think. Will and Jake cleverly stage the ghostly attacks and then take payment for making the creatures they created go away. One day, they arrive in a town and offer to help the people drive away evil spirits, but this time the community is bordered by a real enchanted forest, and that young girls in the village have been disappearing at an alarming rate. They must now learn how to deal with real dark magic that is being caused by the Mirror Queen. They’re not alone though. They’re helped by the fearless Angelika and the quite fearful character and comic relief in this movie Cavaldi.
Don’t really know how to grade this movie, actually, lol. Just watch and try to enjoy as much as I did. A movie that I have watched so many times as a kid. I loved it so much back then and I love it even more now. This is a guilty pleasure movie for me. I know it’s not the best movie, but something just keeps drawing me to it over and over again.
