The conclusion to the Godfather trilogy. This movie was released 16 years after the last one. 16 years. Was it worth the wait? It’s not as good of a movie as those two were and it was never going to be… Even if they worked another 16 years on the script it wouldn’t have been as good as the last two. Those are untouchable masterpieces of cinema. This is stil a very good movie though, but the plot and character development are noticeably not up to par with the last two. So, the plot real quick. An old Don Michael Corleone wants to legitimize his family business and remove himself from the violent underworld and link Corleone’s finances with the Vatican, but is kept back by the young Vincent Mancini. The movie’s ending is sad but a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
I’m giving this movie an 8/10*
