Wow! So satisfying to finally see a good horror/psychological thriller movie! It doesn’t have a lot of scares, but, it will leave you on the edge of your seat. The atmosphere is creepy throughout and the very little scares that do happen are very effective and the sci-fi and mystery elements both work very very well! Also, Elizabeth Moss as the lead character in this movie is just perfect casting. She did a really good job here! I’m sick and tired of bad acting in horror movies…
I was excited when I saw that this movie is produced by Blumhouse Productions! They made some of my favorite horror movies like the Insidous trilogy, Get out! Us, Split, Oculus, Unfriended, Hush, Ouija 2, Sinister 1… None of these movies are filled with stupid jump scares, but they’re very suspensful and well acted and that’s what I want to see in a horror movie!
The only two things that bothered me about this movie is the very graphic violence and the slow beggining of the movie. Kind of takes a long time for the invisible man to “appear”/mentaly torment the main character in this movie.
I’m giving this movie a very high 8/10*!
If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers like me, this movie absolutely deserves your money!
