We start the movie in Kansas and suddenly a tornado comes and whisks away Dorothy and her dog Toto in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and on the way there they meet the now famous characters: a brainless Scarecrow, a Tin Man missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West in order for him to help them.
Speaking of the Wicked Witch of the West, she gives me nightmares even to this day. I don’t know, but I’m more scared of her than a really scary and violent horror movie. This is otherwise a great movie. If you for some reason never seen it, please do so as soon as possible.
8/10* because, it does drag quite a bit for me. It felt longer than it actually is.
