Man, the full title of this movie… No wonder people refer to this movie as just Borat. So, where do I start with this movie? Borat leaves his country to travel to America to make a documentary. As he tours the United States he meets real people in real situations. His behaviour draws out hilarious reactions from the people he’s interviewing. In some cases they agree with his outrageous views on race and sex, while others are left shell-shocked and angry. I haven’t watched this movie in like 8 years, maybe even more. Rewatching this movie today, I completely forgot how funny it is. This movie should come with a health warning that says: You might choke from laughing while watching this movie. Usually I’m a pretty reserved laugher, but I couldn’t help myself from laughing out loud here.
This is the best that the mockumentary genre has to offer. 10/10 again, guys!
