Sharknado (2013) Movie Review

Sharknado (2013) - Movie Review - Quick Movie Reviews by Haris

Against all logic and the laws of nature, a hurricane off the coast of Mexico sends an army of sharks towards Los Angeles, California. You have tidal waves filled with sharks and of course three F5 tornadoes filled with sharks. The main character of this movie is a former surfing champion and Santa Monica Pier bar-owner, Finley “Fin” Shepard and he embarks on a dangerous journey to Beverly Hills, fearing for the life of his wife, April, and his teenage daughter, Candice. Fin, his friend, Baz, barmaid Nova, and his regular customer George must fight to stay alive, as hundreds and hundreds of flying sharks rain down on them and the unsuspecting residents of Los Angeles. Who can stand in the way of the mighty Sharknado? This movie is filled with terrible acting, terrible camera work, the most unconvincing CGI, stock footage of Los Angeles and sharks in the water. I can’t believe this movie actually got made, was actually shown on TV and actually made money. You have to see it to believe it. Also, the dad from Home Alone is in this movie and he gets killed in the most hilarious way. Like I said, you have to see this movie to actually believe it.

If you watch this movie drunk and with the right people, it will probably make it even better, honestly. This really is a masterpiece in a ”so bad that it’s good” category. A 1/10* movie in a regular category, but, since this movie is in a ”so bad that it’s good” category, it gets a 10/10* for me. I’m not ashamed to admit that I would watch it again. Btw, if you’re bothered by a lot of blood even if its fake, don’t watch this movie, it’s gonna mess you up so much.
